What is a good series of books for my 10 yr. old daughter to read?

My daughter is 10 and she needs a good book series to read. She Hates book in less they are comedy or have talking animals in them. :) she has already read Judy Blume, dairy of a wimpy kid, the world accroding to humphery, and she HATES book that were written a LONG time ago THANKS
