Kicker L7 12" vs Alpine Type R & car setup?

As far as SQ goes the kickers dont even come close to the type Rs ive owned both. Alpines are made waaaay better, the kickers are loud dont get me wrong but are made very poorly. Always remember especialy in car audio this applies "you get what you pay for" If it were me id go with two 12" alpine type R's with the box (unless u have the slightest amount of box building experience u may end up wasting ur time and $) and as far as head units both pioneer and kenwood make pretty decent ones if I had the choice I woyld go with the pioneer thou where as to they have more options and have a little bit higher voltage output (depending on the model u choose) and for an amp I recommend Audioques monoblock amps (check out audioque.com) fir the price compared to other brand name amps they put out faaaaaaar more "true" power compared to other companies overating the true amount of RMS watts being put out.
