Is Syria a third world country...?

I know the term third world is not so accurate to label countries since its outdated and such, but would Syria be considered third world? I know it's not as bad as parts of Africa, India, and so on, but I know it's probably not going to be considered second world, and definitely not first world like the US. I'm just curious to know...thanks in advance.
