Did anyone see the new endorsement?

Wow, I checked out the Huffington Post link and you are the real deal. This morning the thought occurred to me that the conservative swing started with Sen. Goldwater in 1964 and may end with Sen. McCain in 2008. I find it ironic that both hail from Arizona. I think your grandfather was pretty much of a libertarian, and I began to like him more and more in the later stages of his life. Even in things I disagreed with him on, I could see his points. I imagine that he would have lots to say about the Patriot Act and some of our loss of liberties. I enlisted during Vietnam and am an Honorably discharged veteran. I've been a registered Independent voter for most of my adulthood and have voted in every election since 68. I've probably split my presidential votes fairly evenly but like Colin Powell, I am very concerned about the direction this country has been taking. I think we need to push the pendulum back toward the center.
