What was the name of that cartoon network movie about santa claus?

Its a cartoon movie, not clay animation, about the life and beginnings of santa claus or st. nick (i cant remember the name he is referred too). But when the movie starts out he isn'tt a jolly heavy guy.In factt i think it talks a little about when he was a baby. He was a toy maker who loved making toys throughout the year and would p them out at christmas time to the kids in the town near the woods he lived. and his wife would make candy for them, one day sheaccidentallyy bent the peppermint stick and that made the first candy cane. Does this soundfamiliarr to anyone? i haven'tt seen the movie in years. It used to air on cartoon network.
